To perform this test, the process of isolating or extracting the viral genome (RNA and DNA) must first be carried out accurately. Viral RNA and DNA extraction is one of the key steps in the PCR process, as sample purity and high quality directly impact the accuracy of test results.
In this method, viral genome extraction is based on virus inactivation and lysis to separate and purify viral genetic material, including RNA and DNA, from other cellular components. This step is critical for accurate and sensitive molecular detection of pathogens.
