Description

Common ALL translocation Multiplex RT-PCR Kit | Common ALL Translocation Multiplex RT-PCR Kit (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia)

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is a heterogeneous group of hematologic malignancies characterized by the abnormal proliferation of immature lymphoid cells or leukemic blasts. This disease is the most common cancer of childhood and, despite its aggressive nature, has a high recovery rate with timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

In ALL, chromosomal translocations play a significant role in the pathogenesis of the disease. These rearrangements result in the fusion of parts of two different genes, leading to consequences such as:

  • Abnormal gene expression
  • Disruption of the normal function of the involved genes
  • Activation of oncogenic pathways

The identification of these chromosomal translocations in patients with ALL is an important tool for accurate prognosis and treatment stratification in B-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (B-ALL).

The Common ALL Translocation Multiplex RT-PCR Kit is a product of ap-rad and is designed and manufactured for the rapid, sensitive, and specific detection of five common fusions associated with B-ALL.

By covering five common genetic fusions in B-ALL, it enables the rapid and multiplex identification of these translocations and plays an important role in molecular diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and the selection of targeted therapies.
