Description

AP-RAD Deparaffinization Solution | محلول پارافین زدایی

Biological specimens are typically preserved and stored in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fixed with formaldehyde. Formaldehyde, while simultaneously fixing the tissue sample for preservation, creates crosslinks with the nucleic acids present in the sample, thereby causing severe interference in molecular analysis methods.

Older methods for removing these crosslinks primarily rely on heating, which is only partially effective and leads to the fragmentation of unstable nucleic acids such as RNA. Furthermore, these methods use flammable and toxic substances.

The Deparaffinization Solution is an odorless, biocompatible solution used to remove formaldehyde-induced crosslinks in tissue and eliminate paraffin from FFPE blocks. It significantly reduces nucleic acid degradation during formaldehyde removal and provides optimal conditions for extracting RNA and DNA. Additionally, this solution performs deparaffinization in just a few minutes in a single step.

The Deparaffinization Solution from ap-rad is designed and manufactured for the purpose of removing formaldehyde-induced crosslinks in tissue and eliminating paraffin from FFPE blocks.
