Description
Trichrome Stain (Masson) Kit
Masson’s Trichrome staining is a histological staining method used for the selective staining of collagen, collagen fibers, fibrin, muscles, and red blood cells.
In this type of staining, three different dyes are used, hence the term “Trichrome”. Masson’s Trichrome is one of the most common histological stains, used to distinguish between muscle and collagen in tissue samples.
The original formula has changed over the years, but Masson’s Trichrome is a three-color based protocol that selectively stains muscles, red blood cells, cytoplasm, and keratin red, collagen blue, and nuclei dark brown.
The Trichrome Stain (Masson) Kit from ap-rad is designed and manufactured for the selective staining of collagen, collagen fibers, fibrin, muscles, and red blood cells.
