Description
Hematoxylin and Eosin Stain Kit | H&E Stain Kit
The Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) Stain Kit is one of the most fundamental and widely used tissue staining techniques, employed in histopathology for staining intracellular components and clinical diagnosis. Mayer’s Hematoxylin is one of the common hematoxylins, oxidized by potassium iodate to produce hematein (the actual dye used in staining). Hematein stains nucleic acid-containing parts of the nucleus blue. The most common type of eosin is Eosin Y.
Eosin is an acidic dye that reacts with proteins rich in basic amino acids, staining the extracellular matrix and cell cytoplasm a bright red-pink color.
The Hematoxylin and Eosin Stain Kit (H&E Stain Kit) from ap-rad is a formulation of the two tissue dyes, hematoxylin and eosin, designed and manufactured for staining intracellular components and clinical diagnosis.
