Description

Multiplex Bacterial Respiratory PCR Detection Kit | PCR Kit for Detection of Bacterial Respiratory Infections (Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus)

Haemophilus influenzae (from the family Pasteurellaceae),
Streptococcus pneumoniae (from the family Streptococcaceae), and
Staphylococcus aureus (from the family Staphylococcaceae)
are among the most important bacteria with circular double-stranded DNA that play a significant role in causing lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs) in humans. These infections are particularly prevalent in children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals, and can lead to diseases such as pneumonia, severe bronchitis, and invasive infections.

If not diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, bacterial lower respiratory tract infections may rapidly progress to severe, life-threatening stages and may even result in patient death. Since the clinical symptoms of these infections often overlap significantly with each other and with viral infections, accurate identification of the bacterial agent is of great clinical importance and can play a key role in selecting appropriate antibiotic therapy and preventing unnecessary drug use.

ap-rad, considering this diagnostic need, has designed and manufactured the Multiplex Bacterial Respiratory PCR Detection Kit (Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus). Utilizing multiplex PCR technology, this kit enables the rapid, sensitive, and specific simultaneous detection of these three common respiratory bacteria and their differentiation from other bacterial agents in human samples. It can play an effective role in early diagnosis, better clinical management of patients, and reducing the complications of respiratory infections.
