Description
One-Step Urine Dipstick Control Kit | Urine Dipstick Abnormal Control
The urine dipstick test strip from ap-rad can detect pathological and pathogenic changes in a patient’s urine through a standard urinalysis.
A urinalysis can reveal diseases that may have gone unnoticed because they do not produce significant signs or symptoms in the blood. Examples include diabetes mellitus, various forms of glomerulonephritis, and chronic urinary tract infections.
Stability:
- At -20°C (frozen): 12 months
- After thawing, at 2-8°C (refrigerated): 1 month
Note: Thaw frozen solutions at room temperature before use.
Quality control is an important part of quality assurance and forms an absolute requirement for performing clinical tests. Urinalysis tests often receive less attention. When performing quality control for urinalysis, the following points should be considered:
- Being aware of the daily frequency of positive results
- Identifying inconsistent internal results in patient samples and following up on results that indicate improper collection or an unusual sample type
- Using quality control materials designed to mimic abnormal urine samples
